While yet to hit US cinemas, Marvel’s latest Avengers film dominated the international box office over the weekend and consequently broke records.

According to Variety, the estimated $250 million production has already opened to $201.2 million across 44 territories, and it was the highest grossing film in all locations.

While its initial box-office revenue of $27.3 million in Britain saw it overtake Fifty Shades of Grey as 2015’s biggest U.K. opening, in the process becoming Marvel’s biggest opening in Britain, the biggest superhero opening of all time, the biggest April opening of all time and the eighth biggest debut overall in recorded U.K. box-office history.
