Alien: Covenant and The Predator get release dates

20th Century Fox has set new release dates for its upcoming films including The Predator and Alien: Covenant.

The Predator, directed by Shane Black, will open March 2, 2018, while Alien: Covenant, Ridley Scott’s sequel to Prometheus, has been moved to August 4, 2017, opening earlier than it was originally planned.

Amongst these new release dates, other future Fox productions have had their schedules change as according to Box Office’s Twitter, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, directed by Tim Burton, has been moved from Christmas Day to September 30, 2016.

As well as that, Fox’s comedy Why Him? (starring Bryan Cranston and James Franco) will now debut December 25, 2016 and Animated tale Ferdinand will release on July 21, 2017 with The Mountain Between Us being removed from Fox’s schedule altogether.
