2017’s most profitable film so far has been revealed and it’s not the one you’d expect. Beauty and the Beast, Wonder Woman, Fast and Furious 8, Spider-Man: Homecoming; probably the first films that come to mind when you think of huge profit this year. However, it’s Jordan Peele’s horror masterpiece Get Out that takes the prize.

According to TheWrap, Get Out has had the best return on investment of any film of 2017 with an impressive 630 percent. And the only one other film to come close is also from the same production company, Blumhouse, as M. Night Shyamalan‘s Split had a 610 percent ROI.

Peele was given a $4.5 million budget for Get Out, which is incredible in comparison to its worldwide gross of $252 million.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast remake remains the highest grossing film of the year so far with $1.26 billion worldwide.
