Could Bryan Cranston be set to play Mr. Sinister in Wolverine 3?

Yesterday, it was revealed that Mister Sinister will appear in Wolverine 3 and Marvel may now find the perfect man for the role in Bryan Cranston.

During the post-credits scene in X-Men: Apocalypse, Mister Sinister’s character was teased and according to CinemaBlend, in the audio commentary accompanying the digital release of the film, director Bryan Singer confirms that Mister Sinister’s reveal is preparing audiences for his arrival in Wolverine 3.

So with his appearance confirmed, the question is who will take on the role? Well back in October last year, Bryan Cranston revealed he’d like to play the villain.

During a panel at New York Comic-Con, Cranston answered “Mister Sinister” when asked which Marvel character he’d most like to portray. He then went onto ask what the crowd thought:

“What do you think?” he asked the crowd, which preceded to go wild. “It intrigues me to be able to play a character that hasn’t been on film before, so you can create it from the beginning.”

Breaking Bad’s Walter White certainly thinks he can pull off the part!
