It appears Ben Affleck will be back for The Batman, but what about The Accountant 2?
While not an enormous hit, 2016’s The Accountant had a solid run at the box office, grossing $155 million on a $44 million budget. According to Variety, Warner Bros. is aiming to get a sequel off the ground with Affleck reprising his role as Christian Wolff. Director Gavin O’Connor and screenwriter Bill Dubuque are also reportedly in negotiations.
