Title for Guardians of the Galaxy Sequel Confirmed

Director James Gunn has officially announced via Twitter the title for the anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy followup. Perfectly playing into the tone, humor, and music demonstrated in the 2014 hit, the sequel will be entitled Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

With the script’s first draft complete and the film set to start shooting in Atlanta next February, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit theaters on May 5th, 2017. While we’re of course excited to see the Marvel movie, this title makes us even more eager to listen to the soundtrack. We’re hooked on a feeling it’ll blow our minds.
