The Post trailer is here and just in time for awards season

With names like Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, and director Steven Spielberg attached, The Post is one of the most anticipated films of the 2017 awards season. For the longest time, however, we’ve seen virtually no footage of the Best Picture hopeful.

The first trailer for the film just landed, delving into the true story that pitted journalist against the US government.

The Post hits theaters on December 22, 2017.
