New photo from Star Wars: Episode 8 shows Maz Kanata
It’s been confirmed that Lupita Nyong’o’s Maz Kanata will be back for Star Wars Episode 8.
Episode VIII director Rian Johnson posted a photo of the character from the set of the new film on his Tumblr today:
We can only presume that Kanata has survived the First Order attack on her castle, and we can look forward to seeing her pop up again when Star Wars Episode 8 hits our screens on December 15, 2017.
