Lethal Weapon cast reunite for 30 year anniversary

Lethal Weapon stars have reunited for the 30th anniversary of the first film’s release in 1987.

Mel Gibson, Danny Glover and Rene Russo have celebrated the milestone with a mini reunion, appearing together on ABC’s Good Morning America, see it below:

“I think there was a lot of love between us. And when I see them, I just kind of get the same feeling… It’s like seeing a teenage sweetheart or something.” said Gibson, who played Martin Riggs.

“I think you could say whatever you want about the films, but I think the relationship got better and better over the period of time. I can’t get anywhere [without] somebody [saying], ‘Say it to me. Just say, ‘I’m getting too old for this,’” Glover added.

“I’m getting too old for this s***” – Glover’s iconic line as Roger Murtaugh.

The trio last appeared together on screen in 1998’s Lethal Weapon 4. There’s currently a Lethal Weapon TV series with a new cast, which first aired last year and now has a second season in the works.
