Kingsman’s Sofia Boutella in line to be the new Mummy
Sofia Boutella is reportedly in talks to join Tom Cruise and star in Universal’s upcoming reboot of The Mummy.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Boutella will play the title role, confirming that the classic monster will be female in this new screen incarnation.
Boutella has a steady career so far, with her most high profile roles being in Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek: Beyond.
Directed by Alex Kurtzman, The Mummy will unwrap onto our screens in March 2017.
