Josh Brolin is “blown away” by Avengers: Infinity War’s story

Marvel have some huge films in the pipeline, but none arguably as big as the Avengers: Infinity War movies. Josh Brolin’s Thanos will take centre stage as the main villain, and the actor has revealed that he’s been “blown away” by the story.

Brolin told Moviefone:

“I sat at a table and I listened to the story from beginning to end”, “Sometimes you go around and you go, ‘Oh, it’s a great movie. Or this is a great experience,’ and you kind of know that it’s not. This is the opposite…

These Avengers stories all come down to this conclusion, and that’s our involvement. Basically, my character against everybody. And it’s really fun what they’ve chosen to do with the story”.

Brolin as Thanos in 2012’s The Avengers.

“I think it’s brilliant, personally”, Brolin continued. “I was blown away, and had goose pimples pretty much 50 percent of the time that I was listening to what was going on, and pretty amazed that I’m going to be involved in it. So it’s a big thing that’s coming up”.

Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1, helmed by the Russo brothers, will hit US theatres on May 4th, 2018, and if Brolin’s comments are anything to go by, then we can’t wait!
