James McAvoy joins Charlize Theron for The Coldest City

With Charlize Theron already on board and director of John Wick, David Leitch set to helm. Spy thriller The Coldest City has scored another big name with James McAvoy signing up for the project according to THR.

Theron will play a skilled intelligence operative that is called into action when an undercover MI6 spy is killed just before the fall of the Berlin Wall. She’ll have to track down a list he was smuggling to the West in order to prevent her and her colleagues becoming endangered by the release of crucial information.

Production will begin on the film next month, initially in Budapest and then heading to Berlin and now with McAvoy’s name added to the bill, we are certainly looking forward to this one.
