James Bond 25 gets release date

The 25th entry in the James Bond franchise is coming sooner than you might have expected, but will Daniel Craig return?

According to 007’s social media accounts, Bond 25 is set to hit theaters on November 8, 2019.

“James Bond will return to US cinemas on November 8, 2019 with a traditional earlier release in the UK and the rest of the world. Bond 25 will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade and produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. The film’s cast, director and distributor will be announced at a later date.”

While there was word that Christopher Nolan might helm the film, those rumors have apparently been shot down. Of course the real question is who will play 007? There’s still no word if Daniel Craig will reprise his most iconic role after Spectre. If Craig really would rather commit suicide rather than play Bond again, who will replace him? Tom Hiddleston? Idris Elba? Charlize Theron?

With the release date announced, one might assume that the studio already has their Bond lined up. Of course it’s also possible that they’re just jumping the gun.
