Actor from original Avatar returning for all four sequels
Actor Giovanni Ribisi is coming back for all four Avatar sequels, which are filming simultaneously with a billion dollar budget.
In James Cameron’s original film, Ribisi played Parker Selfridge, a corporate administrator for the Resources Development Administration. Although Selfridge signed off on an attack against the Na’vi, he did demonstrate some reluctance and regret. So it’s unclear when he’ll be a good guy or a bad guy going forward.
Ribisi won’t be the only returning actor, as Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver are also on board. As for newcomers, Kate Winslet will be reuniting with Cameron almost two decades after Titanic.
Avatar 2 hits theaters on December 18, 2020.
