Transformers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover off the cards for now

Fans of both the Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchises will have to wait it out, if there is indeed any hope for them that they might see these two universes cross over. As Brad Fuller, one of the producers on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, has stated that a crossover won’t be happening anytime soon. Talking to Screen Rant, Fuller said:

“if we’re lucky enough to have another Turtle movie beyond this one, I don’t know why we would start doing a crossover until it felt like the storylines had been played out in the Turtle world.”

He goes on to say that co-creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, have created a plethora of amazing stories to explore, so it would be a long way off. We thought the latest Turtles movie was actually pretty good in our review, so another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie does at least look as though it could be on the cards…
